Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tempo Dashboard (“Tempo”, “the Application”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Tempo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
1. Description of Service
Tempo is a desktop application that provides AI-powered task management and automation for software development. Features include:
- Automated task execution via AI agents
- Meeting capture, transcription, and AI-powered analysis
- Google Calendar integration for scheduling meeting capture
- Project management with configurable AI models
- Human-in-the-loop verification workflows
Tempo connects to your Google Calendar to identify meetings you designate for capture, joins those meetings via a transcription bot, and generates structured project notes from the resulting transcripts.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tempo. By using the Application, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account and Access
3.1 Account Registration
You must create an account to use Tempo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Access Codes
Access to Tempo may require an access code. Access codes are single-use, tied to one email address, and non-transferable.
3.3 Single-Device Policy
Your Tempo account is restricted to a single device at a time. Attempting to use the Application on a different device without authorization may result in access being denied.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use Tempo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and API keys
- Review and approve all AI-generated code changes before committing them to your projects
- Ensure that automated task execution complies with your project’s requirements and standards
- Maintain backups of your code and data
- Inform meeting participants that a transcription bot will be joining, where required by applicable law or meeting platform policies
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding recording and transcription of meetings
You agree not to:
- Use the Application to develop, deploy, or distribute malicious software
- Attempt to circumvent device enforcement, access controls, or authentication mechanisms
- Share your account credentials or access codes with others
- Use the Application in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application, except as permitted by applicable law
- Use the AI-powered features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Interfere with or disrupt the Application’s services or infrastructure
5. AI-Powered Features
5.1 Task Automation
Tempo uses AI agents to execute development tasks on your local machine. AI-generated code modifications require your review and approval before they are finalized.
5.2 Meeting Analysis
Tempo uses AI to analyze meeting transcripts and generate summaries, insights, and action items. AI-generated analysis may not be fully accurate or complete and should be reviewed before acting on it.
5.3 No Warranty on AI Output
AI-generated content (code, analysis, summaries) is provided “as is” without warranty. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, security, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
6. Your Data
6.1 Local Data
Tasks, projects, execution history, and application settings are stored locally on your machine. You retain full ownership and control of this data. We do not access, upload, or process your local data.
6.2 Cloud Data
Account information, device registrations, and meeting data are stored in our cloud infrastructure as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.3 API Keys
You may configure third-party API keys (e.g., for AI model access) within Tempo. These keys are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security and proper use of your API keys, and for any charges incurred through their use.
7. Third-Party Services
Tempo integrates with third-party services including WorkOS, Google, Supabase, Anthropic, Recall.ai, and Deepgram. Your use of these services through Tempo is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Rights
Tempo, including its source code, design, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of its developer(s). These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Application as described herein.
8.2 Your Rights
You retain all rights to your code, projects, tasks, and any content you create using Tempo. We claim no ownership over your data or work product.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
- AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FREE OF VULNERABILITIES
- AUTOMATED TASK EXECUTION WILL PRODUCE CORRECT OR SAFE RESULTS
- THE APPLICATION WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SYSTEMS OR CONFIGURATIONS
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- LOSS OF DATA, CODE, OR WORK PRODUCT
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM AI-GENERATED CODE OR AUTOMATED ACTIONS
- SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FAILURES
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT OR DATA
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Application
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Code or content generated through your use of AI features
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using Tempo at any time by uninstalling the Application and deleting your local data. You may request deletion of your cloud-stored data by contacting us.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to Tempo at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ceases immediately.
12.3 Survival
Sections 5.3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination of these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Tempo after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
14.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Tempo.
14.4 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
